Cantonese Chicken Wings
This is a nice, simple Cantonese recipe. Make it the day before you are going to have them. You want the wings to marinate overnight so they get the full flavour.
35 Whole chicken wings
1 cup soya sauce
1 cup water
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp garlic powder
4 tbsp cooking oil
Blend the sauce ingredients together and mix well.
Pour sauce over wings in a shallow baking dish. Leave overnight. Bake at 325 F for 1 hour. Remove wings from sauce and discard sauce. Put the wings back into the oven for about 15 minutes to get nice and crispy. Serve hot
