Homemade French Loaf

This Homemade French Loaf is so soft and delicious, I will guarantee it doesn’t last too long in your house. It doesn’t even make it until the next morning around here.

French Loaf

Add warm water to the bread machine container Add oil, salt, sugar to the water. Then add the flour. Make sure the flour completely covers all the liquid. Make a well in the center of flour and add the yeast into it.

 

French Loaf

Bake on French setting. If your machine is like mine and it doesn’t have the French setting, I set mine to sweet. Regardless; the time should be set for 3.5 hours.

CRUST: Dark

Ingredients
  • 1 1/3 cups warm water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons yeast bread machine
Instructions
