Crock-pot Spaghetti Meat Sauce
Well what a long day today.. Good thing I decided to make spaghetti this morning. I never got around to making the homemade garlic bread, but everyone loved dinner just the same.

Well I have to say I recommend their products 100%. I used the skillet/wok today to cook my ground beef. I wrote a review on their products today Ceramcor & Xtrema Cookware check it out!
So I got out the skillet and the crock-pot and started to make my sauce. I had made sausage for dinner the other night and had leftovers, when that happens I freeze them so I can use it in my spaghetti sauce.
I add the ground beef and when it is almost finished being cooked through, I add the already cooked sausage. When it is all mixed together and the beef is browned; set aside.
Add all the spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, and soup into the crock-pot and mix them all together. Then chop your onions, mushrooms and peppers and add them in ( I chop mine in large chunks so my picky family can pick them out if they want to (or I completely ground the mushrooms so they don’t know they are eating them HAHA! )
Add the meat mixture, then add the spices and mix thoroughly. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Keep checking on it from time to time adding more spices and sauce if you want to.
When you are ready for dinner, cook your pasta and serve.
- 1 pound extra lean ground beef
- 3 links precooked sausage cut into chunks
- 1 to 2 jars Ragu Spaghetti sauce or your own favourite sauce.
- 1 can Campbell's Tomato soup
- 1 796 ml can diced tomatoes partially drained
- 1 medium onion chopped into large pieces
- 1 sweet pepper (green, red, orange, yellow or a bit of all of them) cleaned and chopped into large pieces
- 1/2 pound mushrooms chopped
- 3 cloves garlic diced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
Using my Ceramic skillet , I brown ground beef. When ground beef is almost fully cooked, I add the sausage pieces to it. Cook for another minute or 2 . Drain, set aside
In the crock-pot add all the liquids and mix together.; (I usually add 1 to 1 1/2 jars of spaghetti sauce at first and add the other half jar throughout the day if I need it)
Add the spices and mix
Next add your meat mixture and mix it all together really well, making sure all the vegetables and spices are evenly merged with the meat
Cook on low tor 4 - 6 hours
