Chocolate Fudge Brownies
These brownies never last long in my house. They are super easy to make and so chocolatey. I make them with Kahlua and add my own homemade chocolate fudge frosting on top. You will never make another kind brownie mix again after this one.
1 1/2 cups all – purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup oil
1/4 cup Kahlua (you can replace the Kahlua with 1/4 cup cold water if you want to )
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Put all ingredients in a bowl in the order given; beat on low speed, scraping down sides of bowl, until smooth. Do not beat too long. Butter a 9×13 inch pan; turn in batter.
Push into corners and smooth top. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes (325 F for a glass pan ).
May be iced with chocolate icing and sprinkled with toppings of your choosing.
(I usually frost the brownies while they are still a touch warm)
