Amazing Uses For Vinegar

vinegar

Ever have one of those days where nothing goes right? I don’t know about you but the day before my birthday is ALWAYS one of those days. Well today is that day. When I’ve had a bad day, I like to come home and clean ( ya I know, even my son thinks I’m crazy ). I come home and grab the garbage bags and the cloths and head for the cupboard for the vinegar to find out I HAVE NONE 😂. Off to the store I go. Cannot get the house clean without the smell of vinegar and bleach.

For The Cleaning Fanatics Just Like Me

Eliminate Odours: Swab plastic containers with a cloth dampened in vinegar.

Stop Static Cling:  Add 1/2 cup vinegar to the wash cycle

Remove Sweat Stains: Rub stain gently with vinegar. Wipe with a clean cloth

Remove Hard Water Stains In Toilet: Pour 1 cup of vinegar into toilet bowl. Swish around with the toilet brush and let sit for a couple minutes

  •  Add 1 cup of baking soda and 2 cups of vinegar
  • Let sit for about 10 minutes so it is fizzing
  • Use toilet brush to move the solution around. Make sure you get solution onto the stains above the water line. Don’t flush
  • Let sit for about 20 minutes, then scrub and remaining stains and flush

Clean the rest of the bathroom with a spray bottle full of undiluted vinegar. Spray sinks, toilet, etc…

Clean Carpet Stains: Use 2 tbsp of white vinegar and 1/4 cup of baking soda into a container. Make a paste. Rub the mix into the carpet and let it dry completely. Vacuum.

Insect Bites: Relieve insect bites using vinegar on a cotton ball. Swab the bug bite and it will stop the itch and also disinfect it.

Kill Weeds: Use a spray bottle with white vinegar to kill weeds instead of using nasty pesticides.
