Easy Halloween Recipes for Kids
I remember Halloween time when my son was little ( I miss him as a little guy) he used to love helping me in the kitchen and especially making treats for his classmates, for the Halloween party and parade. The easier the recipe the better, to keep him focused. If I could only get him to cook now! haha!
8 oz (1 1/4 cups) semi sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp honey
1 cup rice crispy cereal
1 cup shredded coconut
sucker sticks (optional)
Measure chocolate chips and honey into a microwavable bowl. Microwave mixture until melted. Stir cereal into chocolate ; add coconut and mix well. Use your hands to form the mixture into small balls and decorate. Put them on a plate and refrigerate until firm.
2 cups cold milk
4 serving pkg Jello instant pudding
500 ml tub Cool Whip, thawed
20 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed (dirt)
6 parfait glasses or small plastic cups, you can even use small dollar store toy pails.
gummy worms, frogs, candy flowers, chopped peanuts
Put milk into large bowl; add pudding mix. Beat at low speed with electric mixer until well blended 1 to 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes; fold in Cool Whip and 1/2 of the crushed cookies. Place 1 tbsp crushed cookie in bottom of each glass. Fill glasses 3/4 full with pudding mix. Top with remaining crushed cookies. Decorate with gummy worms, candy and chill.
