Cream Cheese Tortilla Appetizer
My daughter decided to make these one night last week. They are so yummy we have had her make them 3 more times for us. They are loaded with flavour and just enough heat to be spicy but not hot.
- 1 8 oz pkg Philadelphia cream cheese softened
- 1/4 tsp taco seasoning mix
- 2 cups shredded habenero cheese
- 1 - 2 fresh tomatoes diced
- 2 green onions diced
- 2 small jalapeno peppers seeded and diced
- 2 tortillas large size
Mix cream cheese and taco seasoning into a bowl.
Lay out 2 tortillas and spread the cream cheese mixture completely over each tortilla
Next take 1 cup shredded cheese for each and cover the cream cheese mixtures
Cover the cheese with diced tomatoes, then green onions and jalapeno's
Roll wraps tightly and slice into 1/2 inch pieces. Refrigerate covered with plastic wrap for about an hour.
For an extra added touch you can add diced cooked bacon, chopped shrimp or shredded chicken. 😊
