Madison’s Mexican Tortilla Roll Ups – Cream Cheese Appetizer

Cream Cheese Tortilla Appetizer

Madison's Mexican Tortilla Roll Ups

My daughter decided to make these one night last week. They are so yummy we have had her make them 3 more times for us. They are loaded with flavour and just enough heat to be spicy but not hot.

Course: Appetizers
Cuisine: Mexican
  • 1 8 oz pkg Philadelphia cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 tsp taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cups shredded habenero cheese
  • 1 - 2 fresh tomatoes diced
  • 2 green onions diced
  • 2 small jalapeno peppers seeded and diced
  • 2 tortillas large size
  1. Mix cream cheese and taco seasoning into a bowl.

  2. Lay out 2 tortillas and spread the cream cheese mixture completely over each tortilla

  3. Next take 1 cup shredded cheese for each and cover the cream cheese mixtures

  4. Cover the cheese with diced tomatoes, then green onions and jalapeno's

  5. Roll wraps tightly and slice into 1/2 inch pieces. Refrigerate covered with plastic wrap for about an hour.

  6. Serve

Recipe Notes

For an extra added touch you can add diced cooked bacon, chopped shrimp or shredded chicken. 😊
