Clean Eating Grocery List – How to Eat Healthy on a Budget

Healthy Eating

Clean Eating, healthy dieting & no sugar diets vary from person to person, but the one thing that remains the same smoothie

Remove the White Stuff

Replace your white starches with a healthier option. Remember less is  more. Removing the white stuff and getting rid of processed foods and replacing them with whole wheats, quinoa, and spices is the key to a healthier lifestyle. Clean eating is a deceptively simple concept… At it’s simplest clean eating is about eating whole foods or real foods – those that are un-or minimally processed, refined and handled, making them as close to their natural form as possible.

Add flavor to your meals with trying different herbs and spices.

REMOVE                                                              REPLACE WITH

White Sugar                                                          Honey

All purpose flour                                                 Whole wheat or Almond Flour

White Pasta                                                          Whole wheat pasta

If you even start with replacing one of these items, you’re on your way to a great start.

Grocery shopping is so expensive, that you may think it’s cheaper to buy processed JUNK. But truly at what cost? Low energy, food hangovers, weight gain, constant hunger cramps? Go through the fridge and your cupboards and slowly start replacing the bad food with healthy ones.

Make a Planbreak-the-bank

Start to replace items with every grocery trip. Replace 2 unhealthy items for 2 healthy ones, then add something new. Maybe you have never tried Quinoa but have always been curious…. well make that your new item. Sound affordable? Believe it or not it won’t take you as long as  you think, you will barely even notice the change (except in your health) and this way you won’t break the bank doing it.

Change your life 1 item at a time
