Drink a smoothie!
A smoothie is one of the best ways to get kids to eat fruits and vegetables. They love them and don’t even realize how good they are for them.
The pear shaped papaya is famous for it's mellow,buttery taste. For the ultimate flavor use a ripe fruit that is mostly yellow and feels somewhat soft when pressed.
- 1/2 cup fat-free yogurt
- 1/2 cup fat free milk
- 3/4 cup chopped papaya chilled
- 1/2 cup strawberries sliced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup small ice cubes or crushed ice
In blender, combine yogurt and milk; add papaya,strawberries, and honey. Add ice cubes. Cover and blend until nearly smooth.
Garnish each serving with additional strawberry
