This makes the gravy for you right in the crockpot.
- 1 large sirloin tip roast beef
- 2 cans Campbells cream of mushroom soup
- 2 tbsp A1 sauce
- 1 can water
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 pkg onion soup mix
- 1/2 lb mushrooms sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Place roast into crockpot.
In a large bowl combine all ingredients EXCEPT for mushrooms. Pour over roast. Cook on low setting for 7 hours.
Slice mushrooms and cover roast and gravy with the mushrooms. Cook for another 45 to 60 minutes (you will notice mine doesn't have the mushrooms, my family doesn't like them so I omit them ) (they are so picky )
Pull out the roast and sit on plate or dish of your choosing. Let sit without cutting for about 20 to 30 minutes. This allows the juice to settle nicely into the entire roast.
Stir the mushroom gravy, it will be nice and thick. I put some into a cup to pour over the roast before serving.
