This is one heck of a crowd pleaser.

Servings: 32 Wings
Ingredients
  • 3 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
  1. Rinse chicken and pat dry. Cut off and discard wing tips. Cut each wing at joint to make two sections. Sprinkle wing parts with salt and pepper. Place wings on broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 20 minutes. 10 minutes on each side or until chicken is brown. Place chicken in slow cooker.
  2. For sauce, combine honey, soy sauce, onions, ketchup, oil, garlic, and pepper flakes in bowl. Pour over chicken wings. Cover; cook on LOW 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
